PT. Tirta Investama Berkomitmen Tingkatkan Kesehatan dan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat di Era Pandemi
Komitmen itu diaplikasikan melalui program yang telah berkesinambungan yaitu Pasuruan Bersahaja (Bersih,Sehat, dan Sejahtera) dan Local Economic Development (LED). Bertempat di Balai Desa Mendalan, pada 21 Juli2020, launching sekaligus sosialisasi program dilakukan bersama pemerintah setempat baik dari tingkatkecamatan, desa, komunitas masyarakat, dan para pemangku kepentingan terkait lainnya.
Hari Wicaksono selaku Stakeholder Relation Manager mengungkapkan bahwa perusahaan berkomitmen untuk
menginisiasi program yang berkesinambungan. Program WASH dan LED telah berjalan selama 10 tahun untukmenjaga keseimbangan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat.“Perekonomian masyarakat terus berjalan di tengah pandemi covid-19, kolaborasi perusahaan denganpemerintah kecamatan maupun desa melalui program ini bisa menjadi salah satu energi baik bagi kehidupan masyarakat,” kata Hari.
Kegiatan tersebut dihadiri Camat Winongan, Sektretaris Camat Gondangwetan, dan Direktur Yayasan SocialInvestment Indonesia. Kegiatan kick off meeting itu tetap mengedepankan protokol kesehatan bagi seluruhundangan yang hadir.
“Program ini sesuai dengan harapan pemerintah saat ini, sebagai wilayah yang masih belum sepenuhnya ODFakan sangat terbantu dengan adanya program WASH,” ungkap Basmi, S.Pd, M.M., selaku pimpinan pemerintahKecamatan Winongan.
“Program pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan ekonomi lokal mengajak masyarakat untuk
mandiri secara ekonomi. Harapannya tidak hanya mengedepankan kemandirian secara ekonomi, tetapi jugabisa menghasilkan suatu produk yang akan menjadi ciri khas desa, seperti Batik Mendalan yang mempunyainilai kearifan budaya dan menjadi identitas lokal,” tambahnya lagi.
Yayasan Social Investment Indonesia dipercaya PT. Tirta Investama untuk melanjutkan pendampingan program.Sejak 2010 YSII telah menjadi mitra perusahaan dalam mensukseskan program LED dan WASH.
“Program kami susun bersama perusahaan dalam jangka panjang atau multiyears, untuk tahun ini program LED akan kami fokuskan untuk usaha produktif perikanan, pendampingan UMKM, penguatan kelembagaan koperasi, dan terus mengembangkan usaha Batik Mendalan,” kata Musmin selaku Program Manager dari YSII.
Sedangkan kegiatan-kegiatan dalam program WASH diprioritaskan untuk mengatasi permasalahan sampah, permasalahan kesehatan anak khususnya stunting, dan dukungan untuk ODF yaitu berupa fasilitas jamban sehat.
“Program akan melibatkan peran serta dari kelompok Karang taruna, PKK dan kader kesehatan, Puskesmas, dan bidan desa. Program juga diharapkan dapat bersinergi dengan program pembangunan daerah sehingga mampu memperluas penerima manfaat program,” jelas Musmin. (min)
